Terms of Service

No legal entity has been registered for this service. The operator must supply the entity name and jurisdiction before these terms can bind anyone. Until then, this document describes the intended terms of service but does not constitute a legally binding agreement with a named party.

What this tool does

Jsonlook is a diagnostic tool that parses JSON text and inspects HTTP server responses. It accepts a URL or a blob of JSON text and returns information about the structure and validity of the input. It does not modify, store, or transmit your data beyond the single Worker fetch operation required for URL inspection (see the Privacy Policy for details).

Acceptance

By using Jsonlook, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tool.

Use at your own risk

Jsonlook is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The tool is a diagnostic aid — it does not guarantee the correctness, security, or availability of any API or server you inspect with it.

No liabilities

In no event shall the operator be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of or inability to use this tool. You use Jsonlook entirely at your own risk.

Fair use

You agree not to use Jsonlook to probe, attack, or harass any server or service. The URL inspection feature is designed for diagnostic use on APIs you are authorised to access. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to inspect the URLs you supply.

No accounts or data storage

Jsonlook has no user accounts, no authentication, no database, and no persistent storage. There is no data to suspend, terminate, or export. Every use of the tool is stateless and ephemeral.

No commercial guarantee

This tool is provided free of charge. There is no service level agreement, no uptime guarantee, and no commitment to backward compatibility. The operator may modify or discontinue the tool at any time without notice.

Billing and payments

Jsonlook itself is free. The diagnostic tool described in Pricing costs nothing, requires no account, and has no subscription. You are never charged to use it.

Voluntary support payments are not yet available. The pricing page shows a "Support development" checkout that offers an optional $5/month contribution. This is a demonstration only. No payment processor is connected to this site, so no real payment can be taken and no money is collected. Submitting that form does nothing but display a success message. Do not enter real card details into it — they are not processed, transmitted, or stored.

If and when payments are enabled, these are the terms that will apply. What you would buy is a voluntary support subscription, not access to the tool — the tool remains free regardless. The price is $5 per month, billed monthly in advance. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.

Failed payments. If a recurring charge cannot be collected (for example, an expired or declined card), the payment will be retried automatically over the following days. If the charge still cannot be collected, the support subscription lapses — the tool itself is unaffected, since it is free and does not depend on the subscription.

Refunds. Because a support contribution is a voluntary payment toward development rather than a purchase of a service, contributions are generally non-refundable. If a payment is taken in error or you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact the operator and the charge will be reversed. No refund is owed for a lapse of the support subscription, since the tool itself remains fully available for free.

No payment processor is currently connected. Until one is, the site cannot accept or hold money, and nothing in these terms obligates you to pay for anything. This section describes intended policy for a future payment feature and will be revised when a processor is actually connected.

Governing law

No governing law or jurisdiction has been specified because no legal entity has been registered. The operator must supply this information before these terms can specify a governing law.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The "Last updated" date will reflect revisions. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
